At dusk we slipped into the water, a huge dark form glided beneath us, was it a manta or a shark? Since I'm here to tell the tale, I can assure you that it was a manta with a 10ft wing span. The graceful giants swooped and glided beneath the purple lights, scooping plankton into their cavernous mouths , so close you could kiss them. It's impossible to describe what this experience is, just go see for yourself.
